Text Formatting Basics
Formatting helps make text clear,
attractive, and easy to read.

Bold, Italic, and Underline
- Bold (Ctrl + B):
Makes text darker and thicker.

- Underline (Ctrl + U):
Draws a line under text.

Paragraph Alignment
Alignment controls how text is
positioned across the page.
- Left Align (Ctrl + L): Lines up text to the left margin (default).
- Center Align (Ctrl + E): Centers text in the middle (good for titles).
- Right Align (Ctrl + R): Lines up text to the right margin.
- Justify (Ctrl + J):
Aligns text evenly on both left and right margins.

Line Spacing
Line spacing adjusts the space
between lines of text in a paragraph.
- To change line spacing:

Select the text/paragraph.

Go to Home → Line and Paragraph
Spacing (icon with up/down arrows).

Choose spacing (e.g., 1.0 =
single, 1.5 = moderate, 2.0 = double spacing).
